Baby Volcano

Baby Volcano is a Swiss-Guatemalan artist. She burst onto the Swiss underground scene like a lava eruption with the release of her debut EP, Síndrome Premenstrual, in 2021. Trained in performance and contemporary dance in Buenos Aires, she leaves her mark by delivering powerful, sensitive, and avant-garde concerts. In just two years, she has been scheduled at the largest European festivals, including Roskilde, Les Eurockéennes de Belfort, Paléo Festival, Dour Festival, Les Vieilles Charrues, Le Printemps de Bourges, Les Transmusicales de Rennes, Monkey Week, BadBonn KILBI, and more.

In 2024, she will once again break boundaries with a tour of festivals in Quebec, including Jazz à Montréal, Les Fêtes de Québec, and La Noce. Baby Volcano is a complete artist. Her music is hybrid, visceral, and profound. She is not afraid to experiment and push the boundaries of musical genres. Her intoxicating creative force makes her an artist who continues to leave her mark and redefine the standards of contemporary artistic expression.

Baby Volcano is a must for anyone who feels a visceral pull toward Latin rhythms — the kind that wreck your lower back but, while they’re at it, also tear everything else down without hesitation. She’s the kind of artist who makes you realize that, in this forest of electronic overstimulation — where everyone seems to have less brainpower than a Thermomix — there are still people with enough personality to remind us that music and performance matter. That they tell stories. That they shake up our consciousness.
