The Móstoles-based trio VVV [Trippin'you] is revolutionizing electronic music with an uncompromising, provocative sound that breaks the mold. With an explosive mix of post-punk, mákina, trángol, jungle, dubstep, and UK garage, their music is a true manifesto of resistance and sonic disorder, a call to challenge the norms and shake up the genre from within.
When I first discovered the dystopian universe of VVV TRIPPIN'YOU, I wanted to dance, cry with rage and break everything. Fortunately, I didn't end up fully ‘somatising’ their lyrics, but they did become one of the best discoveries of that strange year. Their music explores the tangled relationship between love and hate, between desire and the fear of acting on it. But this inner conflict appears in a way that is so raw, decadent and beautiful that resisting it becomes almost impossible.
